Despite some controversy surrounding the new "Star Wars: Galactus Starcruiser" hotel coming to Disney World (including the price and quality of experience), the Disney Parks team is doing everything possible to build excitement for its opening.
That includes exploring a meeting between Rey and Kylo Ren that we knew nothing about before now!
"There's a love story on board," teases one member of the Lucasfilm Story Group in the video below, "and we'll get to see some of the characters that we know and love from the films, including Rey and Kylo, who will actually meet up again for probably the first, and maybe the only, time between [The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker]."
It sounds like this will go some way in explaining why and how Rey and Kylo had fallen for each other by the time we found them in The Rise of Skywalker, something that's going to be welcomed by fans. Whether it's worth spending thousands of dollars to watch that play out is another matter, of course, but we're certainly intrigued how this hotel experience will build on their dynamic.
The Galactic Starcruiser is set to open on March 1, so we'll no doubt learn more about this storyline soon as fans of this Galaxy Far, Far Away are bound to share their thoughts online after staying!
